Prerequisites

Ensure:

• Units are available in your folio.

• The scheme is eligible for redemption.

• Bank details are updated and verified.

Steps

1. Sign in to your HDFC Mutual Fund account.

2. Select Redeem.

    3. Choose the mutual fund scheme.

     4. Enter:

• Redemption Amount

• OR Number of Units

     5. Verify your registered bank account.

     6. Confirm the transaction.

     7. Note the transaction reference number.

Expected Outcome

• Redemption request is submitted successfully.

• Units are redeemed at the applicable NAV.

• Funds are credited to the registered bank account after processing.

Important Notes

• Certain schemes may have lock-in periods during which redemption is restricted.

• Exit load may apply if units are redeemed before the specified period.

• Tax implications depend on the type of scheme and holding duration.
